She is the closest to Hiro out of the team, aside from Baymax. Despite her initial refusing, Go Go becomes a superheroine for Big Hero 6 and provide her friends the determination they need to preserve and protect San Fransokyo. For instance, she personally hugged Hiro to comfort him after the latter realized the error of his actions, understanding the emotional toll Hiro had gone through and reminding him there is always a better way than revenge. However, what lies behind her thick shell is perhaps an immensely compassionate heart towards her friends. Her honor evidently surfaced when she stood against Hiro when his desire to avenge Tadashi made him resort to killing Yokai in cold blood. But deep down, Go Go is noble and honorable, so she will not condone an unscrupulous act. She is also incredulous, to the point that she is not willing to accept limits, and at worst she can be highly opinionated. Go Go tends to be recalcitrant, uncooperative, and reckless, much to Wasabi's ire and is known to head into a fight without thinking. Indeed, she becomes an effective leader when the team needs help, carefully choosing what to say to her friends to get them to act. When under such a circumstance, she drops everything and becomes serious, quickly taking control of a situation by sheer will and determination. Even though she can have a hard time dealing with them, she will put their safety above all else, especially to the possibility of failure. She is quite strong-willed and ultimately protective of her friends. She is no-nonsense and has little patience for those who will not take things seriously or move too slowly. However, as a result of her tastes, Go Go has developed a sarcastic attitude, making her not the most approachable person to be around.

She is also quite adaptive, most notably she utilized her newfound abilities proficiently when battling Yokai one-on-one, despite only recently learning how to use her suit. Due to her athleticism, Go Go is resourceful in situations with and without the use of powers. Go Go is a heroine in the form of a woman governed by silence and experience. The armor on her upper arms are obsolete and the armor on her hands have been replaced with black bare-knuckle gloves.

Go Go's super-suit received a few alterations in the TV series.
Her visor was changed from transparent to a purple / magenta tint for the TV series. In her superhero form, Go Go wears a black-and-yellow suit of armor with yellow maglev discs on her wrists and boots (each sporting a red spot in the center), a matching helmet, and black underclothing with a hint of red linings. Sometimes, she is seen with a white tank top (which is also her sleepwear).
In terms of attire, she is most notably found wearing clothes meant for fitness and physical activity, which is a dark gray leather jacket, fashionably ripped dark gray leggings with violet patches, underneath a pair of black shorts with red highlights, a white short-sleeved shirt, black trainers with blue on them, and black bare-knuckle gloves. She is rather short in stature, with fair skin, pink lips, short, somewhat scruffy black hair with violet streaks, brown eyes and lavender eyeshadow. Go Go is a young woman of Korean descent. The daredevil adrenaline junkie is at her best on wheels, and when Go Go joins forces with Big Hero 6, she rolls like never before, using maglev discs as wheels, shields and throwing weapons. Popping bubble gum and delivering well-placed sarcasm is totally her speed. She's tough, athletic and loyal to the bone, but not much of a conversationalist. She lives in a neighborhood known for having many criminals lurking around, but it doesn't appear to be a thing that worries her due to her toughness. She enrolled at City Honors Academy during her high school years and eventually found her way to the university that she attends in the present day. Go Go is an accomplished racer ever since she was a child, Go Go has had a passion for racing, having won several races (including getting placed twice in the San Fransokyo Criterium). Not much is known about Go Go's early life, but it can be assumed she has had a passion for speed and its vehicular applications since before she began attending San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, where she majors in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design.
